Fenton Art Glass
Fenton Art Glass has long been a favorite of collectors. Many collectors prefer the older creations, from before the 1940s, with carnival glass, depression glass, and hobnail. Some collectors like the more mid 20th century pieces, such as melon vases, overlays, crests, and milk glass, and many people prefer the more modern wares, with elaborate shapes and fantastic artwork. Whichever Fenton you like, the company's creations are always lovely, each in its own way. The Fenton company started in 1905 as a family company, and remains so today, with descendants of the original founders still working in and running the company. Fenton has managed to survive the ups and downs of business, to be one of the few glass manufacturers left in the US, and one that specializes in art glass.
